Ina Klasko New NJAWBO State Publications ChairIna Klasko has been approved by the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) State Executive Board as the State Publications Standing Committee Chair for 1999 – 2001. As Publications Chair, a Board of Trustees voting position, Ms. Klasko will direct the coordination of information from The Bottom Line, EXCEL Program, and Board Chairs with NJAWBO’s public web site, as well as printed materials. "It’s quite an exciting prospect to be involved in presenting NJAWBO, our legislative efforts, and training programs on the Internet and in print, and being part of getting the word out to thousands of business owners who would benefit by NJAWBO’s work," says Klasko. Ina Klasko is the owner of I K Associates, based in Sussex County providing computer, business and technology consulting. A faculty member of the Community & Professional Programs at Community College of Morris, Ms. Klasko has developed and conducted courses co-sponsored by the Skylands SBDC at the college. She has spoken on preparing technology plans at NJAWBO, and developed and taught training classes in Microsoft® applications at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover. Ms. Klasko is a member of NJAWBO, and former Secretary of the Sussex-Warren Chapter. NJAWBO is the largest chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and has 15 county chapters with approximately 1000 members throughout the state. Founded in 1978, NJAWBO’s objectives are to encourage ownership of businesses by women, provide a voice for them in local, state and federal legislative bodies, provide training and assistance, and increase the visibility of women entrepreneurs through participation in the business community.
