Klasko Awarded NJAWBO Teal HeartIna Klasko was recently presented the Teal Heart Award by the Sussex-Warren Chapter of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO). The Teal Heart, presented to individuals for outstanding service to NJAWBO, was awarded to Ms. Klasko for her conceptual and management work on the newly unveiled NJAWBO Millenium web site at www.njawbo.org. "Being involved in presenting NJAWBO on the Internet and part of getting the word out to thousands of business owners who would benefit by NJAWBO membership has been a tremendously rewarding experience." says Klasko. "The Marketing / Web Site team can be proud of the final product, which has been receiving impressive traffic." Ina Klasko is the owner of I K Associates Computer Consultants, based in Sussex County providing computer and technology consulting. A faculty member of the Community & Professional Programs at Community College of Morris, Ms. Klasko has developed and conducted courses co-sponsored by the Skylands SBDC at CCM. This Summer she will teach computer courses for The Alliance for Corporate & Community Education at Sussex County Community College. She has spoken on preparing technology plans at NJAWBO, and taught training classes in Microsoft® applications at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover. Ms. Klasko is a member and former Secretary of the Sussex-Warren Chapter of NJAWBO, and the current NJAWBO State Publications Chair. NJAWBO is the largest chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and has 15 county chapters with approximately 1000 members throughout the state. Founded in 1978, NJAWBO’s objectives are to encourage ownership of businesses by women, provide a voice for them in local, state and federal legislative bodies, provide training and assistance, and increase the visibility of women entrepreneurs through participation in the business community.
